In the event and restaurant business for over a decade, Elysia Heller has focused on planning and producing special events in the San Francisco Bay Area, debuting a business of her own in 2002. Her passion for celebrations of food and spirit began at an early age, arranging cocktail and dinner parties for friends and family and taking small catering jobs on the side through college. She then went on to work both front and back of the house in catering and fine dining, finishing with a five year turn in restaurant management. The 1998 wedding and marriage to her husband made clear Elysia's true calling...a quintessential combination of classic elegance, whimsy, organization, and innovation...planning weddings and special events. In spring of 2004, Elysia Heller Events branched out to Seattle and the Pacific Northwest while continuing to serve clients in the Bay Area.
Elysia Heller Events focuses on capturing the dreams and visions of each client, illuminating and expressing their unique personality through the end result...the event. Among the many qualities that contribute to a well-orchestrated and magical féte, Elysia believes the integrity of the event relies on her relationship with the client, as well as gathering the best and most well-suited vendors to bring to the table. "Once the right people are on board I can really begin to fill in the pieces and bring each facet to its fullest potential". The event becomes much more than just the sum of its parts, and in the end is more glorious than one can imagine because you bring in an element that does not emerge until that day...the guests...and in the instance of a wedding...the love and happiness of the couple and their community.
